Steven Gerrard and Family

Steven Gerrard is the most iconic player of his generation, he is the one who plays his most of the matches for the English side Liverpool and also he is the one who led his side in his playing days and he has been served as a captain for the English national team as well.

Steven Gerrard was born in the year 1980 in the Merseyside road in England and since his young days he used to love the game of football, his father name Paul Gerrard always supported him to play the beautiful game and his mother is Jullie and Gerrard, Steven Gerrard and family members are very close to each other and he also has a brother called Paul Gerrard and his cousin brother Anthony Gerrard is also a football who mostly played his football with the 1st division teams.

At the beginning of his career Steven Gerrard played his football for the club called Whiston Juniors and at that point of time the Liverpool scouts were there and they identified his talent at that moment and after that, he joined the Liverpool Youth academy and after that, at the age of 14 Steven Gerrard gave trails in many other English clubs even he went to Manchester United as well for the trails and in his autobiography, the English legend explained that he did that to put pressure to his club, Liverpool, to offer him a contract extension and later in 1997,5th November he signed his first professional contract with the Liverpool club.

In his career, he played a lot of football with the Liverpool side and also he is the one who won many individual and collective trophies in his days for his side, under his captaincy Liverpool won their fifth Champions League trophy as well and also he won the FA cup with his side.

 In his career he faced his cousin Anthony Gerrard in a  Football League cup final, his cousin brother used to play as a central defender, he came from the ranks of Everton football club, where he didn’t manage to get the first-team football and because of that played most of his career with the Football league in the Football league cup final he was playing for the  Cardiff City and Liverpool faced them in the final both the brothers faced each other and in the end, Liverpool emerge victorious over them against Penalty shoot outs where both the Gerrard brothers missed the spot-kicks.

In his career, Steven Gerrard was in e relationship with thebeautiful model Alex Curran and they were dated each other for more than 5 years and in 2007 they finally decided to marry each other and right now they are blessed with four beautiful children named Lexie Gerrard, Lilly-Ella Gerrard, Lourdes Gerrard, Lio Gerrard.
